Most typical DIY methods do not work because the water cannot penetrate deep inside the pads and material and there needs to be the right combination of detergents and disinfectant to eliminate the bacteria and mold. The “bathtub soup” method just removes surface dirt, bleaching compromises the material and stitching and disinfectant sprays only treat the surface of the equipment.

The Esporta safely washes all helmets with visors. You do not need to remove your visor on your helmet. The wash process is not agitated so this ensures your helmet does not get moved around and damaged.
